Default Info in FAQs wrong?

I had recently read that the Magnum injectors were 18.2 lb/hr in the 92-95 5.2Ls and 24.5 lb/hr in the 93-95 5.9Ls. The info originally posted by HANKL was put in the FAQs.
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...injectors.html

Last year I did a 5.2L to 5.9L swap in my 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 built in 4/1994. The 5.9L was out of a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 built in 2/1994. I tore down the motor and it is definately a 5.9L. I used the 5.2L injectors out of my truck as they are in much better condition then the 5.9L injectors.

This last weekend I went to swap to the 5.9L injectors. They are all labeled with the same chrysler part number 520303262 (I think thats the number). Both sets are black tops. This leads me to believe that they are the same injectors meaning the FAQs are incorrect. I have no idea what size they are but I do know that they are the same.

As far as I know they are the original injectors in both trucks. Those that have 94-95s it would be great to know what your injector part numbers are. They are molded into one side of the top.

The flow rates were not necessarily different injectors, but different "calibrations". In translation, the PCM ran the injectors at a lower rate for the 5.2L than the 5.9L.

I'm not 100% positive, but that would make sense.

That would be true (different pulse widths) except then the injectors would be the same lb/hr in the FAQs and they are not.

Injectors are rated by flow at some set pressure, and duty cycle. Most manufacturers have their own standards of rating, for their entire product line. There are differences between manufactures, on just what pressure, and duty cycle they use to rate them. Two injectors with the same part number, from the same manufacturer, will have the same flow rating.

Did Dodge use smaller injectors in the 5.2 vs. the 5.9? I don't know.... You also don't know if those are the factory injectors though either... They may have been changed at some point in the trucks past. I know going to larger injectors was a favorite mod with the Thirdgen firebird crowd.
