Default 1998 Upper Ball Joint Replacement

I need to replace both upper and lower ball joints on my 2WD 1998 1500. I can find lots of info on the replacement of the lower ball joint, but almost nothing on the upper. Most info just says remove the upper susp. arm, and take to a 3rd party for replacement. My question is "Can the upper ball joint be pressed out and replaced with the proper tools?

I did all mine last year myself with the proper tools. Its not an easy task but can be done.
You do not have to remove the control arms.

Rent a ball joint press from one of your local parts stores. Makes the job easier. (not "easy" mind you, just 'easier'.)
