LOL, I had to, i picked it up for $500 and was working out of town 4hr drive away every week, LMAO the car would leterally be floored for 4 hrs straight..going about 82 mph the whole freeway drive.. I put 20,000 miles on that little car in about 5 months, image if i did that to my truck the fuel woulda killed me alone, i think i got my $$ worth out of that car...still running strong, only 175,000 miles on her, my back up car for when im working on the Dodge................

haha i don't think I've ever laughed this hard in my life. i imagine your foot got sore after a while. I'd say you really got your money's worth with that car. I know what you mean by the fuel I was getting about 10 hwy with a v6, 5spd, and 3.31 rear gears got a whopping 7 one day with a 30mph head wind. and yea i wish i had a backup vehicle. seems like it takes 2 days to fix stuff on these dodge's. took me 3 days to put an axle seal in it. should've seen the damn bolt i pulled out of the hub assembly.

Hey Dukes, I used to have one of those. Mine was only 75$ at a car auction though. Its top speed was around 50mph unless you were going downhill but it was still a fun car.
It was funny when someone tailgated me in it too because I would put the hammer down and cover them in a cloud of black smoke and rust scale (half from the inside of the tailpipe and the other half from what was falling off the car). The 4x4 worked on it too.
It looked like this one

if thats true about your engine only reaching 150 degrees then your mpg is suffering because the computer adjusts the engine to run rich until it warms up to about 160degrees...thats also why mpg can average worse in the winter than the summer...
chech your oil and make sure the coolant is not there...does your windshield have condensation on the inside in the morning? because your heater core could be leaking and the coolant could be under the rubbermat at the base of your carpeting..

no coolant in the oil thank god. just runs way to cold. I'm getting that fixed tomorrow local parts stores are all closed. I've let it sit this week because I was worried about getting coolant in the oil. So hopefully somebody's got that part in stock so I can get it fixed tomorrow. I don't care what I have to pay for the part I just need it fixed by the 19th.

What RPM is your engine turning at 60MPH? Do you think going to 4.56 gears would help or hurt your mileage? (Yes, I know, common wisdom would suggest that lower gears means lower gas mileage, however, if the motor doesn't have to work as hard to get those big tires rolling.... might translate to BETTER gas mileage.)

At 60mph I'm pushing 1600-1700 rpm, and I am pretty sure I have 3.55's too, not too far off for having 4.10's
