Got the master rebuild kit and ring n pinion in today still waiting on the carrier, I pulled the pinion out of the box and of course theres a little chunk broken out of it so now I have to send the ring and pinion back, I guess at least I got the pinion bearing races pressed in today...

Just about had it with this BS!!! got the replacement ring and pinion in on monday and the carrier yesterday but guess what, they sent the wrong carrier so now I get to wait another week for the correct one! told em exactly what I needed it for, the year of the vehicle and everything they sent me a damn 68-83-WTF??? 95 ram 1500!!!!! it didn't have the provision for the speedometer gear nor was the diameter big enough to press the gear onto so i couldn't have just aligned it with the sensor, what a pain in the *** this has turned out to be and today I sat for 2 hours at A-1 waiting on a damn carrier bearing cap to be pulled I guess they never heard of air tools!

Sorry to bring my bad attitude to the forum fella's just sharing this adventure as I go through it!

No worries. Thats what the forums here for. To blow off steam, so longs as it's not directed at a DF member. A similar thing happened to me with JEGS. They sent me the wrong cap and plugs 3 TIMES IN A ROW!!! I just don't do business with them anymore because of that.

Carrier was still a no show today, I got the wheel bearings and seals installed and the axles set in I'm literally at a stand still because these idiots that just can't get it right! how bad is quality control if your letting a pinion with a chunk missing out of it be sent to a customer??? I need to talk to my boss we need to do business elsewhere, I should have my truck done right now!
