Default replacing ball joints

i am getting ready to replace both upper and lower ball joints on both sides of my truck. i was looking at getting some heavy duty ones but i dont know what ones to get i keep being told i should go with "cheap and easy ones" what do u guys recommened for my rig

Moog.There is no easy ones,they are a PITA to do.I did one side over the weekend and hope to complete the other side this weekend coming up.BIG hammer needed,lol.

there should be a ball joint replacement club, i have to do my drivers side..not looking forward to it, if shops didn't want you to get a second or third mortgage on your house i'd take it to them and let them deal with it.....lol

I did mine last month. Get the moog ones they will out last the cheep one. You don't want to have to do it in another year. A big hammer and some heat helps to get them out.

MOOG did not fit in my truck they were to small. I went with the Duralast ones and they fit perfect, where as the moog fell out as soon as the slid easily in.

The "01" dana 60's are fun to replace...NOT
Make sure you find the set of angled cups for the Ball joint press.
FWIW I went with the OEM Spicers

thanks guys for the help. I ordered a set directly from moog.The ones i have are from napa and i had to replace them 3 times in one year because they kept breaking.I now have to replace the sway bar bushings and the guy at the counter said that there was four diffrent sizes of bushings on the bar. And he said that i could either get the rubber or i believe its poly ones. which ones are the better ones.

Who ever told you to get the cheap one's, don't ever listen to them again!!! Definitely go with Moog from rockauto.com
