suspension lift
hey everyone,
ive been looking into a 5in. suspension lift for my 97 dodge ram 2500. its a 5.9 liter, auto tran, regular cab 8ft bed truck. its also the 8,800 gvrw. ive been looking for about a week for a kit but i cant find one thats clear cut for my truck. im sure yall get this a lot so bear with me. thanks.

Index ring. Not nessary but its something to think about. It "clocks" The t-case so the front drive shaft wont bind while flexing.
If you are just doing this for looks you don't need it. But if you intend to wheel this truck its something to look at.

5 inch front springs.
4 inch rear springs.
Keep in mind, these are JUST the springs, and there are more parts required. If you select an individual part, it will show what else is required on the right. Not going to be an inexpensive undertaking.
Note: Rears are only 4 inch, which will also effectively level your truck when it is UNloaded.

Better off buying a kit rather than pice it together. 9 times out of 10 the kit will be cheaper.

That is where I got my 3" lift from. I'm sure you can talk them down to 700 pretty easy. My 3" was 485 with a few upgrades and other little things.

I really think you can they wanted 420 for my lift and I got them down to 377. SO as you can see there is some room in there. I would give is a shot rather than just paying full price.
