Come to Adrian. We have two 'parks' (not for ORV's mind) One is named Island Park, currently, it is Lake Park. Another is Riverside Park, just leave out the 'side'.... Yeah, the rivers are just a bit high here today.

Looks like too much fun wish I had a place that was all sand around here, only sandy areas are beaches and closed for vehicles, might take a trip this year to central florida were there are some places that are all sand

The water holes around that place scare the s*** out of me. They look shallow and they usually are but every once in a while you'll find one that is deeper than it is wide. I've seen countless people royally screwed up their rigs because they dove into a water hole that turned out to be a lot deeper than they anticipated.

I actually watched a buddy of mine drive his stock Chevy z71 into a hole that was over 5' deep thinking it was ony a few inches deep. He almost made it through, but just as his front tires hit dry land there was a loud pop and a pool of oil started forming under his truck. He threw a rod right through the oil pan. You can't compress water!

But anyway, I highly recommend this going to Silver Lake, it's a riot out there and most of the people are very friendly and eager to talk about their rigs or give you a helping hand. My truck did great, 12lbs in the front tires, 10 in the rear seemed to work the best. I kept it in 4lo with OD off and I had no trouble with most of the hills, I just need new tires (mine are bald ) I even tried to make a circle around the park in 2wd, I almost made it, but the stupid open diff killed me.

Cool place. Reminds me of Imperial. I have to use paddles out there though when I take my race truck.
