Yes but when the needle in my truck is on the red line I have 10-15 miles before Im dry. So when I figured the 280 to a tank I figured in the last 15miles for the gallon that was left. I put 23.8 gallons in the truck when I ran it that low. Now assuming I have a 25 gallaon tank that left me with 1.2 gallons.
You guys see what Im trying to tell yall yet?
yeah...your telling us your doing a lot of assuming.... your cant use the gauge... its not accurate enough period...

You kinda mis understood me I am measuring by a full tank so full it spit up. I mentioned the half tank to let you know that it drops faster than running on a fuller tank, why I do not know it just does. Right now I am at 262.5 and have a 1/8th of a tank left.
An what is a death flash? An how do I remove it?
The reason the half tank drops faster than a full tank if because the gauge does NOT accurately measure the fuel level in relationship to whats actually in the tank....its to be used as a rough estimate and is useless for much else...
