Short beds should be 26G and the long beds are what, 35G?

The reason the half tank drops faster than a full tank if because the gauge does NOT accurately measure the fuel level in relationship to whats actually in the tank....its to be used as a rough estimate and is useless for much else...

Man, this thread has become more of a nuisance than anything else.

Just face the facts, you have a truck. Your MPG will be bad. If you want better i'm sure someone still has a Neon for sale on your local craigslist.

No sht captain obvious. All I wanted to know is why It dropped after I did a tune up and added new tires out back.

I'm getting 11mpg in my truck, and it has the 1ton axle swap, 37" tires ..as well as a stock 5.2 and 4wd. I'm thinking thats pretty good!
