Is there any negatives to coil spacers. For example on a leveling kit

+1. Been looking at spacers also. Can't decide on spacers or a bit longer coil.

They will eliminate nearly all of your downtravel. Bad juju when you only have around 4 inches to begin with. Found this out the hard way with a customers F150. One of his ball joints blew up when it became the limiting point of the suspension at droop. We'll never install one again.

An IFS leveling kit is quite a bit different than one for a solid axle. But then again, I have no clue if the OP is questioning a leveling kit for a 2WD dodge or 4WD dodge... quite a bit of difference between the two.

I just put a 2 1/2inch on my truck last week. So far no ill affects. Depending on the size of leveling kit you may need a spring or struck compressor. I had to use one cause I couldn't get the suspension to release enough. Spent about 5 hours total that day on the spacers. Wasn't hard just time consuming.
