Why do you need a new one?

One member on here picked one up from Advance Auto (don't remember what brand) for 155.00....

You can adjust them up a bit.... but, if it is puking fluid, that makes it a bit more interesting.

I dont think to many people replaced thier gear box's, besides a few RED TOPS IIRC, usually we just deal with them or adjust them, search red top, .

I have replaced mine with a new recently, I paid close to $180 and had to give them a core return. Once you remove the pitman arm from it, it removal and installation is a breeze. Oh yeah, and it helps to have a second hand available to help with power steering bleed.

I got a re-manufactured Mopar steering box for around 200 I think.

Dukes, I don't believe it's red top, its Red Head, and they are a great piece, as well as Borgeson Steering Gears.

Before you buy a new one, do as Dukes suggested, and see if there is any adjustment left in it, could be a nice free fix for you.

When it's mine to do, I'm upgrading to the Borgeson (Delphi) box. It costs a lot more but I've about run out of patience with the Saginaw boxes for this lifetime.

Don't get a re manufactured steering box from Lares or Cardone. I'm on my fourth one.

Sector shaft seal?

Drop the box, pull the sector shaft, change the seal, and re-adjust it as per the service manual (available for download in the FAQ section). Save some money. The seal is less than 20 bucks.
