If you extract it and are willing to sell it let me know. I need something for my race truck, and don't feel like stooping to the level of glasspack, or dropping $150 on something I'm going to blow out anyways.

No worries. It's going to be a looonggggg time before I finish rebuilding the rear suspension, which will dictate muffler placement.

In Wa st at least there is no requirement for a muffler to pass emmissions. You just need the tailpipe to come out from underneatht the vehicle so they can put the sniffer probe in there to test. I no longer have a muffler on my truck. It's fairly loud when I get on it. I think it sounds pretty cool just sitting there idling.
