Wow, that really is high considering I've looked around here for places to have my truck repainted the the highest price I've come across for the highest quality paint job is about $900. And yes that's full body, any color, and clear coat. But then again this is vegas and these places are pretty busy so maybe they make enough money to have prices like that. The cheapest paint job I've seen so far is 399 but that's like...I can't remember...a coat of primer, coat of paint, some type of protective and limited number of colors.

You know whats weird is that you can buy just about every body panel on these trucks for 2 grand and they want 5000 to put paint on it?? C'mon, their labor aint worth that much.

I repainted my hood last year. Here are the pics http://bellsouthpwp2.net/t/h/thegobb...0Job/paint.htm

For about $100 and one whole day of work, I got a newly painted hood. If you have access to a compressor and spray gun, go for it.

Or keep your truck covered in mud and you never have to see the hood! I think that looks a lot better than a nice painted hood.
