Ok, sorry not meaning to hi-jack thread BUT, what are the part cost only going to a 4.10 gear or 4.56?

My parts cost intotal are 1534.95.

Gear cost are 586.

Labor 675.

Tax 6%.

Total 2342.55 or there abouts.

arent you doing landscaping and your going to put a plow on?,,,,,,,, 4.56 is i was you

because the best ratio for 33's is 4.27 and they dont make that so over gear with 4.56 and be ready if you get bigger tires

Get the 4.56's IMO. I have 36" tires on mine and now have 4.10's and wish I had 4.56's or more. Mine pulls the 36"'ers but only barely and it makes 5th speed only good for flat ground highway speeds at about 2100RPM's. It has no ***** to pass anything in 5th but I probably could go 110MPH down a mountain. Who wants to do that in a truck on 36's though? I'd rather trade in some top end speed for some tractor power on my trucks.

Do it right the first time, 4.56's are the way to go running any tire bigger than 33in.

Yea I still am I need to fix my 7 and 4 pin pulls so I can tow the trailers.


Only thing I'm really worryed about is losing all of my top end.

i found front and rear gears for less than $586 i had them priced at hang on i'll find the website, granted they are not yukon's but its whatever you want. ok i found it, www.nationaldrivetrain.com i have a d60 in the front and a d70 in the rear together for 4.10's it'll cost $350 plus shipping, taxes yadda yadda yadda. they are motive gears. i have not heard anything bad about them and i have asked around. have fun with those 4.10's i know i would lol

Than add install kits for the axles. It really adds up guick.

i got a 1600 price quote from 4 wheel parts. Thats parts and labor for 4.56's. Plus taxes of course.

That name carrys a bad rep. Plus there is none around me. I'm going to a place that dose custom work from the ground up. They bulid monster truck frames. Stuff like that,
