Thats what I thought. I might have to replace that as well because when I turn on cruise control and am going a certain speed I set it then the RPMs will jump a couple hundred then go back down to normal instantly and I've heard that this is one cause of the TPS going bad. I'm pretty sure I have that and a blown Plenum. I plan on checking the filter and throttle body today to see what I can see.

Also it seems like my accelerator pedal is a little loose. Like it sits a little lower than the brake and you have to press it down a little harder or farther. Is there anyway to adjust this to tighten it because I'm pretty sure its supposed to sit about equal with the brake. Or is this something I should just take it into the shop for

Have a look at the cable at the Throttle body, and see if there is any slop. Cables stretch over time, it may just be time for a new one.

Do you mean the cable going to the throttle body and connecting to it? Or is there an actual cable in the throttle body? This could be the issue I had just taken that more than likely it was the TPS. Would this just be called the Throttle Body Cable then? What is the cable called incase I need to order a new one from RockAuto or something

Throttle cable. goes from the gas pedal, wraps around the front of the motor, and connects to the linkage on the passenger side of the TB. The air intake duct work might need to come out of the way to get a really good look at it.

Actually, if you read Silver's statements in the "What is the death flash" thread in the FAQ, you'll see that the death flash was not to cover up the plenum failure. Some dealerships use it to do so, but it was not intended that way from Chrysler.

Thanks. I'm running 245/75R16 on my truck right now. I've heard that if I go with bigger tires then it will mess up some of the suspension such as the ball joints and such will go out very fast. Anyone else heard this? I won't be getting new tires for a while. First I'm working on this engine

So I found the battery tray for much cheaper through a OEM place. Only question is that it has Battery Tray Left and Battery Tray Right. Mine is on the drivers side of the engine bay so that would be Battery Tray Left correct?
