Well here are some pics of the work I got done today. The Hughes plenum fix kit will be here Monday and I wanted to tear it down early to find and replace any casualties and do a lot of clean up before then. As you will see there was a blow out and it left a nice thick build up on the inside. 6 dollars at the power wash, and 2 cans of carb cleaner later, it looked much better. So far I only have 3 casualties. I had 2 intake bolts snap on me. Soaked them in wd40 and used a pair of vice grips to turn the studs out. The third was the oil pressure switch at the back of the block. I hit it pretty good with the vice grips while turning the very far back passenger side intake stud out. Pictures are not in order.
