You traded a 14x3 for a CAI? Heretic!

why is that? the 14x3 was a old one that was given to me and it was way to loud for my tastes.

i have been wanting a CAI for a while now, looking at the k & N but had to wait because of money. But these spectre's are really good on price and im hearing decent things about them. Look like i might grab one, and for the price i won't have to wait.

I was joking. I'd never have a 14x3, and there's a K&N FIPK-II on my truck right now with which I'm quite pleased. There are folks hereabouts who have nothing good to say about aftermarket CAI's, which is why I thought it might be funny.

i think that the cai bring in more cooler air then a 14x3 any day of the week. the spectre is rated for 850 cfm but i don't know if its true or not?

not to thread hijack....but is there a way to get a dual intake?l ike have two intake tubes, and two filters going to each side of the truck?

btw...ive been looking into the spectre cai's, since ill probably not have to sell my truck since my family and i are getting back on track ....so you'll have to let me know if you notice mpg gains and power gains....cuz for that price you cant beat it.
