mine throws a code every once in a while for my gutted cat... It'll go away after a couple weeks on its own if I don't clear it myself. PO420- Low Catalyst Efficiency <--I'll never forget the one code my truck throws at me lol

i just drilled a hole in it from where the single outlet comes out and showed a metal rod in and broke it all up and welded the hole back up seemed to get the job done

I don't live in TX anymore, but I believe it is county specific, or atleast it was then. I had to do an emissions check about 10 years ago in Bexar county (san antonio) but then the next time I got inspected it was in comal and no smog check, quick look online should tell you,
