DF, Identify these parts!
I always assumed they were for fogs too, as my 98 did not come with them. But, my 2000 has factory fogs and I still have that empty plug. At this point I have to agree with Diefenbaker. They use the same harness's a lot of the time. And certain aspects of the system are just deleted from the PCM's programming, or fuses and or relays left out.
car/truck horns are tuned to an interval of a perfect fifth. It's a more pleasing sound that blends well.
A train horn is tuned to an augmented 4th, or what musicians commonly refer to as a tritone. This interval does not blend well and causes dis-chordal semiquavers that grate on your ears, which is why you notice the sound of a train horn more than a car horn.
