Sometimes that's best. I have been thinking silver and red for my engine. Dunno how that would look. But the whole truck theme is red black and silver.

 

just used an engine degreaser, brake clean and a wire brush. i did it last fall and no chips or anything.

i just sprayed the alt the way it sat, covered the terminals and the pulley.

 

Lord where you get the rad cap?

 

i made it, ive been messing with diamond plate a lot recently on my truck, seat brackets and a switch panel to replace my ash try, and i did that rad cap a few weeks ago. i think its 34" x 3" but i bent a 1/2" crease all the way down, drilled two 1/8" holes where there were slits in the top rad fin and put 2 little self tappers in it, not sure if all the rads are like that but the little slits were just enough to get screws into without damaging anything. i also slid the other end under my shroud because it was sagging really bad.

 

K Autozone is having a sale on High heat engine paint. Its like a sign from God, Im gonna go with Black Intake, hemi orange valve covers, water pump, A/C compressor, and Im gonna try to shine up or chrome out the Alternator.
