Default Bigger oil filter from NAPA!!!

I searched but did not see that anyone has posted it soooooo.I bought a NAPA Gold 1515 for my '01 5.9 2WD and it looked to be around 2.5" longer than the stock filter(1085 NAPA).So to anyone that is looking for a slight increase in oil volume there you go.Mounted it up and it fit just fine with no leaking issues.I think the 1515 is a Ford filter(blasphemy!!!).Just thought I'd share that with you guys..

Thanks for the tip but alot of us are runnin bigger oil filters already... I just found the filter that the book called for, and compared sizes and threads. I've been doing it for almost as long as I've had the truck... It's been talked about here somewheres, that's how I got the idea

I've been running the Motorcraft FL1A on my Jeep for awhile now. Should work on the Rams too.

There was a much longerthread on that at one time.
I've been using the bigger filter since 1987.
