Drop hitch
I just have a couple receivers that I can swap out as needed, with a 1 7/8 and a 2" ball on them (4" drop I believe), and my father-in-law offered me another one a couple days ago with a 2 5/16" ball on it, for his double horse trailer (I use the trailer once in a while to haul away junk from a good basement cleaning and he has 2 of them). That trailer hauls kinda hard, for a double trailer it's heavier than lead lol... I just take my time also though, and haven't had any issues....
I had this problem with my truck that has a 3" lift and 33"s. I think my drop hitch is a 8" drop. I will have to go check though. I tried several smaller ones before I got this one and this one works perfect for my setup.
Okay, mine didn't say on it like I thought it did. How do you measure this thing? I'm pretty sure it's a 8"? drop. If I measure from the top where it starts to where it curves it measures 8". If I measure from the bottom of the square coming out of the hitch to where it curves it measures 6".

Yep I measured like in the last picture there. So it's a 8" drop. I thought that's what it was too. It works perfect for my truck on 33"s. Holds the trailer pretty level. I mostly two a utility trailer and it tows it great. Would I want to tow 10k pounds with a lifted truck? No, but it does fine for towing a few dirtbikes and atv's.
Get over it, it was just a typo. (I refuse to go further off topic so this is my last post in this thread)

No problem. My tires are 305/70R16's btw. So not exactly a 33", but close and often referred to as a 33" tire. Technically a 32.8" tall tire.
