you should pressure wash your axles and spray them with some bed coating.
i usually paint every thing i take off of my truck. that is if i plan on reinstalling it.

I will be painting it I think I am just going to use black paint but dont know.

cleaned up all the springs/ bolts/blocks and painted them. Also got the rear back today will be cleaning it up and painting it to put back in. Will have pictures tomorrow.

I found the gears on dodgeforum someone made a thread in the for sale section with a link to craigslist I called the guy and he sold me the front and rear gears and a front Carrier for $155.00 They are oem used gears

I added a new overload spring so I now have two overload springs but one is longer than the other so should help some the new overload came off a 3gen 1500

lookin good. im fixing to pull mine back apart and paint everything when i get the daily beater back on the road. im rhino lining EVERYTHING. inside cab,under cab,axles,frame you name it.
