Just run it WOT for a bit to blow out the carbon and see where she's at. Cruise it around and let her cool down. A full minute might be excessive.

mine shocked really bad i replaced cap rotor spark plugs

iac and cam sensor in the distributor were the best improvement

also could be you need a valve job my valve seats were gone and making it misfire

you fix your plenum yet?

Not chewing you out man, just saying that after that amount of time (or anywhere near it), the original poster either got it fixed, isn't here anymore, or doesn't care anymore.
