I have ran walmart batterys and had no problems at all. They are Everstart (I think) and are fine. I got my battery i'm running now from Tractor Supply. I'm pretty sure it's an Exide

Duralast just sounds like a ****ty name to me. I try to stay away from autozone as much as I can.

I have a duralast gold(the biggest one that would fit)in my truck that I got from autozone. This is the second one the first one was defective after 2 mounts if i would start my truck and let it idle for 5min and shut it off and restart it it was dead. I went to autozone had it checked they said it was good I said well it wont hold a charge they said ok got a new one off the shelf and offered to put it in for me. I said no just let me use your wrench.

And every Neverstart I have used didn't even last a full year and this is in other vehicles and not just mine.

I like them just for the simple fact that I haven't paid for a battery in 4-5 years now.

I love my Neverstart. The factory battery was shot a month after I bought the truck, so I put in a wallyworld battery. I had that one for 6 years, and have had my current Neverstart for 4 years.

Goooood stuff!

There are only two or three battery manufacturers in the US that make all of the lead-acid batteries for automobile use. They batteries are made to spec and then the sellers slap their tags on them. So, the very same battery bought at O'Reilly may very will be the same battery at Sears, Wal Mart, or the corner repair shop.
