oh yeah while your changing the TB over to the new one, clean your IAC valve of any gunk that might be on there and inspect your MAP sensor vacuum line for any cracks. While you have it off it might be a good idea to take a peek around inside of the throttle body too. I'd use the biggest mirror you can fit down there and a flashlight to look at all the corners. remember this pic when you do it...

I will post my results as soon as I get some and yes Steve I will definatley look in my intake, but Im hoping that what I find doesnt look like yours, I dont burn/use any oil so leakage may be minimal, If any, but may as well look while I have access..

that is coming from the rear and my oil usage was minimal to.

If you do have to change your gasket, get the aps pecsion plenum kit and not worry about it again. if you notice, the gasket that is on there is the new updated metal one from dodge.

Ya know with everyone having problems with this, there should have been a recall from Dodge regardless of year of vehicle because of the design flaw, but since no one has screamed "fire" they arent to concerned, but then again, the new gasket you had on was the "New and improved type" so better off doing it ourselves, when I put the TB on I will definately check.

the dodge parts counter guy mentioned that he thought that dodge changed the pan to aluminum. probably not any cheeper than getting the aps one since it's only $85 bux and dodge likes to triple or even quadruple the price of thier parts. The APS kit comes with the new gasket too
