actually, the motor is 107 a piece, and the fans are 46 a piece, that is x2. Not counting the temperature controller (100 bucks) and the aluminum. So not that much different. However, you can get it cheaper by going with lower CFM fans. THat is actually what PAdodgeram did. He used dualk 1600 or 1800 CFM fans. The plastic finned flexalites.

Getting fans and motors from the junkyard could make the project a lot cheaper as well....

I rather like the idea of a fabbed shroud..... and a couple fans. (whatever size you can fit two of in there....) Or even one big one. Taurus V-6 fan anyone?
