a/c coming out of dash vents- worse after tps replacement

I'm having the same problem as Matty, although mine is with any air coming through the vents. Ac or not.. Ac doesn't even work.. but any time its on vent and I accelerate it reroutes to the dash, like where the defrost would be, then makes a popping sound and comes back to venting straight again. I'm going to check the check valve you guys mentioned, and as far as I know I do not have a blown plenum.

Also I took the truck in to get that fixed a while ago, like 3 years ago, and they did nothing and charged me like 300$ and said they fixed it.
