Default 01 Ram balljoint replacement?

I got into a little accident and had to replace my lower control arm. My new lower control arm will come with a balljoint installed so thats not a problem. The wreck caused the upper balljoint to come loose of the upper control arm.

Do I have to take off the upper control arm and take it to someone to press a new one in?

If so, where do I go to get one pressed in?

Would it be easier and cheaper to just buy another upper control arm with the balljoint installed?

I got a used lower control arm for $35, i'm guessing the upper one is not much more.

thanks for your help guys.

If the accident tore the balljoint out of the UCA, I am really thinkin' that it would probably be a good idea to replace it......

I would also take this opportunity to press in NEW balljoints..... putting a used part in there promises that you will be taking it apart again in the not so distant future.

you can rent/borrow a ball joint press at either autozone or O'reillys they ahve universal kits that are free to borrow, and easy to use. or you can go to any reputable shop and they could take care of it for you, not sure what they would charge...
