Default 3M Headlight Restoration Kit

Today I decided to tackle My Headlights as I am tired of dodging deer at night at the last second because I can't see them. My headlights were frosted and yellow from years of abuse . The kit was easy to use and just took a lot of patience . I would recommend this kit to anyone , it only cost $30 . I even cut the little nipples off with a dremel first and I can't see where they used to be .Attachment 9255

WOW!! Holy crap, that makes a HUGE difference... Gonna have to investigate that... to bad the PO on my truck blew one of them apart, and has clear duct tape over it now..... gonna have to find some replacements.

I tried this on my explorer. It helped but didn't make them look as good as yours does. I didn't have a good enough drill. I need to try it on the Ram. After sitting while the engine was out they got a little hazy

I got the same results with the Crystal View kit that I picked up for $12 on sale at K-Mart, but instead of orbital pads it comes with just plain old elbow grease wet/dry sandpaper. I spent maybe 20 minutes or a half hour at it, and now the lenses look good as new.

With the PIAA Xtreme White lamps inside I'm tickled with how much legal light I've got out front. It's not like running driving lights, but it's much better than new stock ever even wanted to be.

I'd get some clear tint that is UV protected and apply it to the freshly cleaned lens so it lasts a bit longer.
