Default New to Me Ram - Questions

Hey guys, thanks for your help before the purchase. I now have truck in my driveway. My name is Brad Jenkins from Nova Scotia, Canada. Love MX, hockey, musclecars, all the good stuff. Live on 33 acres close to ocean and work in IT Security. I guess that was my introduction as I plan on perusing this site often. Few questions...

1. ABS, Emergency brake, and exclamation point lights are on all the time...any thoughts?

2. I need to fix the headliner, any DIYs for that?

3. Can i actually lube the 4x4 shift linkage or is it only the actuator that makes it hard to get into gears from little use?

Thanks
B

hello fellow easterner! welcome to df!

Does your speedometer do anything funky, like not work until about 60km or so? We've had a surprising amount of guys with this problem here lately, and replacing the VSS fixed it in most cases... What year is yours? The sensor might be on the tranny or transfer case, or if it's ~98 and up, it should be on the rearend...

If your transfer case is hard to shift, check the fluid level first.

i had my brake light and abs light come on once, and i had to replace the read left wheel cylinder, but most people on here are gonna say its ur vehicle speed sensor. the head liner, u can try to buy some glue adhesive and glue it back up, or u can just get those headliner thumb tac screw things and roll with those.
