Default TB Port-out

My neighbor is a machinist by trade and I was considering having him grind the horns off the TB and bore it out to 52mm. I trust that he won't mess it up, but what i'm asking is if I have to buy any new parts for the TB before/after it is bore'd out? And is there anything I should keep in mind for this job?

you would just need to make an s-bolt to attach your air hat. very easy to do with some 1/4-20 threaded rod. the plans are on www.rm-indy.com/

Depends on how much, and how far down he bores it. Might need to replace throttle blades, if he doesn't go that deep, and you use the stock air inlet, no other parts required. The S bolt mentioned above would be if you went with a round air cleaner on top of the throttle body, replacing the stock setup.
