Just took off the intake for the second time now. Rear main seal was leaking so I replaced it and all the other ones just to be safe. Got everything put back together and now she wont start. It turns over but never fires. What do I need to check? I already looked at all the wiring to make sure that it was all connected properly. I did exactly what I did last time I took it apart. Everything was running great then. Any suggestions?

I'd first try to determine which subsystem is failing by testing for spark and fuel delivery.

check your battery voltage, if it's too low it may not fire

Did you have your battery unhooked for a while?

Checked for spark last night, Im assuming that you should easily see a spark, so I am not getting any spark at all. I read that I should check my coil for spark. Haven't checked my fuel pressure yet. I am still really confused because everything was working great and now nothing. Its amazing how easily stuff gets messed up.

OK no spark from the coil. Did some reading, I believe that my crankshaft position sensor is having a problem. Is their anyway to test this sensor without a scanner?

Not that I am aware of. It is a signal generator, so, an Oscilloscope would work too.... everyone has one of those, right?

Replaced the crankshaft position sensor, power coil, still no spark. All I have electric wise to test with is a 12v light and a multimeter. What voltages do I need to check for and what not. I have read the service manual and its not very specific.

The green wire to the coil has continuity, the black one does not. The only voltage reading I can get is while someone starts the truck I get 6v from the green wire to the black one.

Any ideas?
