Angry Dome light switch stolen, truck wont start?

So my ******* cousin thinks because my 97 is at his fathers house that he can steal my dome light switch for his 97.Found this out the other day when I finally finished my motor swap and went to start it. When I go to turm the key I here nothing, not even the starter clicking. Is it possible for some strange reason this is because of the missing dome switch ? I mean I know its quite possibly my battery was just dead or that theres a wiring problem some wheres, but is it possible that the missing dome light is to blame?

no it aint gonna effect it, its either ur battery is way way way dead or a dead cell in it. or the solenoid on the starter is wiggin out, u can hit on the starter maybe its clogged with dirt, and maybe losen the wire on the starter and turn it and tighten it back down, sometimes when they are going out they will just kinda wig out and u can re-adjust the wire and it will kick back in. lets us know

It will still run without the domelight switch,I had my truck running without the whole instrument cluster in it.Are you sure the domelight switch was the only thing your cousin took?

Nope, unless the dumb a$$ yanked on other wires or something when he stole your switch.
I'd put the battery on a charger and then go beat his natural a$$ till the battery was done charging...

That could be possible,I would check the wiring arount the awitch, maybe when he took the switch out he pulled a plug out of the fusebox.
