About an eighth of an inch shorter than the stockers. Compare your new ones to the old ones, if they are the same, take the new ones back, go to a hardware store, and get some just a bit shorter than the stockers.

I noticed that on the replacement plenum bolts I got, the bottom 3/16 is not threaded. If the stock bolts I pull out of the plenum are the same, what do you think about just grinding (bench grinder, or vice and angle grinder) this section off?

Also, the replacement plenum bolts I got came with washers on them. Did the original stock bolts have washers, or could this be Dodge's fix for this issue?

Once I take the truck apart, I won't have easy access to a vehicle (my gf will be off running errands the entire day), so I can't easily head to the parts store after I get the stock plenum bolts out.

Thanks,
Chris

Dont modify the bolts. There is no reason to.

I don't think I understand yor last post "Hey You".

Just to be clear, I was talking about modifying the stock plenum bolts that originally came in the plenum (currently in the truck now).

It was my understanding that these bolts were too long, and should be replaced with shorter ones. I am wondering if I can achieve the same thing, just by shortening the bolts?

lastrights, those rockers look pretty sweet, but will have a to wait a few months due to the cost of my new lifters. What sort of power gains will those 1.7 rockers net?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks everyone for all the help.

Did the job, and the truck runs great now.

Had a bit of an adventure getting the lifters to pump up. You can follow along in my thread titled "Help!! Relpaced lifters sounds like diesel!".

Don't worry it has a happy ending.

Thanks again,
Chris
