cant remember how much difference in torque but it aint enough to matter, 318 has been around since the beginning, most dependable mopar block in my book.
Its got 220hp and 300 footpounds of torque and the truck wieghs about 4400lbs which is light, and i have lots of options now having 2 trucks, but im just gonna build the 360. Personaly i think the 360 magnum is the toughest engine ever maid. Mine has 250,000 origional and iv realy abused it bad and it does not even tick. I know the 318 is internaly balenced and the 360 has a harmonic balencer, i dont know if this has any affect on performance.

Nope. None at all. And all engines have the harmonic balancer. Although, technically, that's a misnomer, it should be "harmonic dampner". It dampens vibrations form having this HUGE thrust every so often.... not like a turbine engine, which is constantly under power.....
