Default Got another Ram!

Just picked up a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 off of craigslist. Its a 318 5 speed singlecab shortbed. All it needs is some body work. 150k on motor, rebuilt axels, new clutch, good tires. It hauls *** and actualy gets about 16mpg. My 360 gets about 8-10 so this is a big difference.

Hell yea im gonna buy as many as i can, you can never have enough 2nd gen rams and i still have my other ram, im just gonna make it a summer project, dana 60, do some body work, lift, gears and rebuild the the engine, possibly a shift kit also but they are both on the road so i have the 98 as a back up.

Oh yea iv been driving it for a week.I traded my jeep cherokee and 200 bucks for it! And yea thats the first thing that came to my mind, put the 360 in it. I know the engine will drop right in but how will it hook up to the nv3500?

Bellhousing should bolt right up. You will need a 360 flywheel/pressure plate/clutch though. Also, the correct ECM to run the 360. Not to mention some extra cash to replace the trans every now and again.

It would be more than worth it tho. The truck is 4x4 and it only ways 4400lbs. It would haul mayjor *** with the 360. This truck with the 318 is no joke either tho. Its faster than my 360 but remeber my 1998 is a big truck compared to this new one!
