Default 01 Ram ball joint replacement?

It's me again, ive posted a couple of these threads about my ball joints.

I'm trying to replace my upper and lower ball joints on my passenger side. I've removed both the upper and lower control arms ,and I've grinded off the tops of the rivets on the lower control arm and grinded off the bottoms of the rivets on the upper control arm. I've been banging with a hammer and punch to attempt to drive the rivets out ,but the rivets will not budge a bit.

Will someone please give me some advice I really need to get my truck up and running, this is the only thing that is holding me back at this moment.

Thanks,

Jesse D.

Use a smaller bit than the rivet, hollow out the center, put your punch in there and HIT IT. Don't use a wimpy hammer. I use a 48 ounce single jack. Works great. (also works great for separating balljoints from hubs.)
