vht nighshade

I used it on my truck. Looks really good. But like everyone else, two coats is just about your limit. I did two coats of the VHT Nightshades, and three coats of clear coat. Then polished them. Left a very nice, dark shade of red. I did happen to have a black LED third brake light and sprayed it I believe once, and it came out black, but the light shines through fine, day or night. If you want them to be black, I think black tailights with two shades of Nightshades would give an awesome blacked out look without sacrificing light visibility.

its great stuff.... either search for my thread (look past the controversy)... or go to page 3 or 4 of my car domain page... plenty of pics, i went heavier on the coat though.... i love it and its still holdin up strong

I did my taillights and turn signals when i did mine. I also taped off the reverse lights like 97ramnj did. I thought about doing my headlights too but mine suck enough as it is. Samples, i bet the cab lights look awesome at night.

yeah i did my cab lights blinkers and headlights light-ish grey its friggin sick looking. and in person my tails look alot darker then the pic its really nice looking though not to to dark redneckrocket your truck looks beast

i went by advanced auto parts and they didnt have any. im gonna call around tomorrow.
