You can not see the part of the shaft that is bad unless it is taken apart.

The "mullett" did take it apart and said that he didn't find anything wrong with it.....However I did get it back on and the noise is no more!

Very happy it wasn't anything more expensive! $145 was all it took. Thanks for the help guys.

145 bucks for a guy with a mullet to tell you nothing's wrong with a part you took to him???! And you're happy with that!?

did he "not find anything" and replace the u-joints ?
or did he "not find anything" and not replace anything ?

The $145 was for replacing all three U-joints, greasing and replacing the spring in the double joint. So the problem was the drive shaft, but when he took it apart he didn't find anything wrong with it.

So yes, I am happy that it wasn't aything more expensive.....t-case, wheel bearing....ect.
