Couple of questions here.
First, I seem to have accidentally pulled a wire from under the dash with my foot or something lol. Its green, and has black sleeve around it. Here's a picture.

So what exactly does this go too? I'm gonna look under and try to find where it goes, but I don't want to **** with anything until I know what it is.
Secondly, when I give it a good amount of acceleration, the ac stops blowing, and when I calm it back down the speakers all pop. Kind of annoying. Is there a fix?
Thirdly, I have squeeky suspension up front, and from what I understand its because lack of lubrication on the u joint. Now I don't understand exactly what that looks like, or where exactly that is. Can someone point me in the right direction?
By the way, its a 1996 1500 v6 4x2.
Thanks a lot.

You don't have front u-joints. Your truck is 2 wheel drive. Possibly ball joints though..... if you have a grease gun, just go after every zerk fitting you can find.... There are a bunch down there.
The wire could be anything, have a look, and see where it goes, does anything not work?
Do a search on "Wild Vents".

compressor should be on the top of the engine, at the front, toward the drivers side, serpentine belt will wrap around the pulley. There is a clutch in the center of the pulley, and if that is turning, then compressor is engaged, if it isn't, well, then it isn't.
If the compressor IS running, and the A/C still isn't cold, that wire may be to the little motor that runs the temp control door. I don't know if you can plug that feller back in without dropping the dash.... not even sure if you can SEE it without pulling the dash.....

would a wiring diagram help?
http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0...ODczMmUw&hl=en
I do see a couple of green wires in the AC diagram... Might help you out....
btw, could a mod download this pdf and maybe add it in the FAQ section somewheres? I got it from Diefenbaker and thought it would be handy to have easily available...
