Question 1999 2500 2wd with the v10???

Ok guys im thinking about getting a 99 2500 with the v10 what are some things to look for when i test drive it and junk?

the 2nd generation V10's are not the ones you have to really worry about it was the 1st gen. make sure you have good oil pressure as i've heard the oil pump was a problem for some people, mine is still running strong with 120k on her. if its an auto well you know the story there, 5 speed, i'd be concerned about the output shaft nut, 6 spd. ummm nothing. if you do get it i suggest you get a hold of hemifever and get that tuner, i have one and it makes a world of difference but keep in mind there is no such thing as fuel economy with these monsters, all the power of a diesel just not fuel efficient, if you don't care the V10 won't either. other than that i got nothing.
