Hey everyone well im also having a problem with my heat my problem i have done my research and everything now im down to two options check the blend door plastic thing or the heater core since the heater core isnt dripping and both lines to and fro are hot im going to guess the blend door well i cant find the damn thing i watched that video a million times and have no idea where it is "98 dodge ram 1500 sport"

Bottom of the heater box, just to the passenger side of the trans tunnel, right up against the firewall. Supposedly.

That's where it is on my '98 1500 Base.

The cable is actually also adjustable on a 98 and some other years. It's in my 98 FSM. It also says to test the door , by rapidly turning the **** from left to right and you should hear the door slam in both directions.

Later models use an electric motor. 2000 and 2001 for sure, I don't know about 99.

By Cracky, you are RIGHT! Coolness. My 96 is indeed cable controlled. (explains a bit....) I don't suppose I could talk you into uploading a scan of that particular procedure, and where the various bits are could I?
