i have a 97 ram reg cab maybe wanting to change the dash from a 97 interior to 98.. any ideas on how hard(or easy) it may be

Very hard. You'd need to rewire all of the interior. Not worth it.

Not to mention the heater/a/c controls are completely different..... cluster is different, possibly even PCM pinout is different...

LOTS of work. I agree, not worth it.

Not worth it, stick with the 97 interior, in my opinion its still pretty modern looking considering new trucks are switching back to the more modular boxy type interior that us 97 and below guys have.

Why would you wanna do that? The 97 dash is way nicer than the 98-01 anyways...

It would be very difficult to do...

The only thing I like about the 98 and up dash is the head light ****. Other then that, I love my 97.

i think my 99 dash is on of the better looking dodge dashs.
but ive seen less cracking issues in the earlier 2nd gens. at least here in south texas
