Front differential vent tube location/routing???
I just replaced the front differential/axle on my 1995 Ram 2500 after the badly rusted trailing end brackets collapsed during a hard stop. I can't seem to figure out where the 1/2" vent tube which is a rubber hose labeled "fuel line" and comes from the 4WD vacuum actuator "motor" assembly goes. The tube is only 20" long or so and it has a clip on it that obviously gets clipped to something but nothing is obvious. The end of the tube has a white plastic cap and smells like differential gear oil. It looks like it could wind up near the air conditioning condenser "can" near the firewall on the right wheel well but that clip doesn't seem to be able to be attached to anything in this area. Where does this hose wind up?

Hose location...
Thanks guys, it is where I thought it could go since there is a nylon cable loop right there under the pcm that looks like it holds the hose. I guess I will see what makes more sense, going on the inside of the chassis which puts it inches from the exhaust manifold or outside the chassis which puts the clip un-naturally away from any of the holes in the chassis which will require twisting the stiff hose. I should have paid more attention during dis-assembly.
