i'm not convinced your cam position sensor is the problem, but here's a pic. its under the rotor in the bottom of the distributor. no personal experience, but internet stories suggest this is a part that should only be replaced by oem.

I reread your first post, and your issue sounds simular to the problems i had with the NAPA sensor.
I could start it in the morning and within 5 to 8 mins. it would shut down.
Minute or so later it would fire back up and i would be on my way.
I could shut it on and off as many times as i liked with no issues as long as i dint let it cool completly down, then it would do it again.
Finally it started doing it more and more often.
Replaced it with OEM and no more issues at all.
If you thought the tune up was bad, wait to you try yo replace this little gem. LOL

haha yeah that camshaft sensor i felt that when i did the tune up it kept sliding off the dist base i dunno if its suppose to move freely when the cap is off or not? but i got it back in its spot and put the cap back on, as for the shutting down i could drive it for a while like i took it to a little town to go fishing it was about a 20 minute drive no problems at all made it to american falls and got off the freeway made it about 5 or so miles into town and it shut down so i put it in neutral and started it, it fired back up no problems at all then made it home from fishing again no problems sometimes i can drive it all around and it doesnt do it other times i drive it a few blocks and it shuts down then it wont fire up for a few minutes so if its best to get the OEM and where can i buy that part at? should i not go through autozone, checkers, etc..? or should i go to the dodge dealership? just asking cuz the dealership is always way expensive. and also what side would the crank sensor be on in the back of the block more on the driver or passenger side? thank you all for all the help this truck is really running a number on me and to be honest im on my last leg with it i was thinking about selling it but i do like it i just need to get this fixed and it would be a awesome truck, also one more question i took it to autozone to have them run a code test on it they said that on a 94 there is no way to plug a code tester into it is that true? and my girls dad says that he can run a code tester on it to see if them sensors are bad is that possible also?

Check the wiring for both sensors.

See what you are missing when it won't start.
