Injectors that work with our trucks
Nice thread here with info. Having a 5.2L/318cid Magnum engine in a Ram Van, my injectors have seen 119,500 miles thus far. Not sure when to have them changed. Are there other types than the Siemens (Continental) and Bosch? Are there a Delphi version that works for our engines?
Hello CM,
I don't know if this is the correct thread to ask, I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l with 196,690 miles. I have had it since 2021 and it worked like a charm but then I got a cat code, I just finally got that replaced by an honest muffler shop. I am getting some bad starts after it is hot and I have to open the key and shut it off twice before turning it the whole way to start the truck. I was told that I needed to replace the injectors before changing the gas pump since there was no major issue with gas flow.
My question to you is, what is the recommended fuel injector and brand I should consider purchasing for a truck like mine?
Thank you in advance.
Joe V.
