Default o2 sensor simulators

I want to run a 3in straight pipe exhaust, but can't because of the cat. Does anybody know where I can get a set of simulators, and if they work good and not make the check engine light come on?

you just need to put the front o2 sensor in the exhaust near where it is now, and use an o2 sim on the 2nd o2 sensor. this will prevent the CE light.. you don't mention your year so I'm assuming you have 2 o2's. if you have 3 cats then you'll need 2 o2 sims.

I have replaced my front sensor w/a simulator, left the rear one alone and have yet to get a light. I am not running a cat. Try it first before spending the money.

If you run a sim in the front it will NEVER run right!!!! run a front O2 so the 'puter can get your fuel/air ratio correct & put a sim in the rear!!!

there was this group buy on simulators, you can see if it's still on... or do a search for them.

I concur - the front O2 sensor tells your computer what the A/F ratio is, so the computer can make adjustments to the mixture. Put a simulator on there and it'll always think it's running right. The rear O2 sensor tells the computer if there has been enough of a change from the front one - if the change isn't good enough then it thinks your cat is bad.

You could just yank the cat out and never get a light. My buddy ran catless up pipe, down pipe, and removed the 3rd cat from his subaru for a while, no CEL at all. A friend of his did the same but added CEL eliminators and he actually got CELs.
