it clears by a nats @$$ when i turn up front, and bumps will guarantee rub, so i am going to be lifting her, and since there is very little available for this truck i am going to get creative.

my ole lady has made me promise that since i already have an sas'd isuzu trail rig, that i would not do that to beefy. so i am going to be milking at least 4-5 inches outa my ifs. most trucks like mine you cant to that with bacause the upper control arm hit the spring cup. but i have fabtech upper control arms that are tubular rather than cast, so they will clear! i have some f250 factory springs on the way that are 19.5 inches long, so that will be plenty of spring. and that trucks spring rate is stiffer than mine so i have some to spare if i cut. i will keep you all posted on how this works. but by the weekend we should be sittin high for sure!

i got the springs coming now for a custom suspension set up, should get about 6 inches out of suspension thanks to my apparently one of a kind upper control arms. then i am def gonna stick with the 37s. they just look so sick!

6 inches in the front with a spring?? i biggest you can go is 3in's with a after market upper c-arm

the most i saw seen was a 3in spring and a 3.5spindle

ranhco back in the day made a kit with a sub frame 4in kit,,, no spinle lift

you are absolutely correct there dodge, but notice i do not have factory upper c-arms. mine are already fabtech, and they have clockable jhonny joints. i also already hade super high angle ball joints up top and below.

my plan is the make a cradle to drop the lower control arms 3" and then i burn off the droop stops, and clock the jhonny joints up top, and in one solid day i can squeeze 6" outa my ifs. then i will prob need new shocks, but i will worry about that then. i have to get measurements for them once the lift is done.

and obviously the rear is super easy. i could cheat and use blocks, but i will probably just do a shackle flip. i can fab that up in about 3 hours.

then barring a sas, that will be one of the baddest 2wd out there!

oooooo yea, i almost forgot, i ordered 2 16" efans and a control unit. i am going to build a fiberglass shroud and all. and i ordered some headlights (cuz mine suck) and i am also going to do custom grill work and a hood before to long. and my dash should be outa paint tomorrow. so i think that this thread will be my official beefy the dodge build thread.

i will do my best to take tons of pics! i am really friggin stoked!!

that back wheel isnt on the truck? Is that a waterbottle holding it from rolling down the drive way?
