Default Stolen truck found now I need help

Ok so my truck was stolen a few weeks ago, now its found and sitting at a wrecker yard. Here is my issue:

the ignition has been popped and it looks like the hotwired it. There are wires pulled out of the column and cut. Oh and they stole the battery and the interior is completely dismantled. I need to get this thing started and brought home since I am racking up a bill keeping it there. Does anyone know how I would hotwire it??????? Its about 60 miles from my house so the tow bill would be a tad high and I want to avoid that. all I can remember is there are green and yellow wires hanging and cut, maybe some others.

Ask the guys at the wrecker yard... they might know how, dont know if they would tell you tho... Its kind of a shady practice...

Ya I am sure they wont, been doing some searching on the internet kinda funny how easy it is to find. I cant seem to find one for a dodge ram though. If someone knows and doesn't want to put it on here for obvious reasons just pm me.

Getting it towed may be cheaper than letting it sit there, and trying to figger out how to drive it home......

Don't have a buddy who could tow ya? Get a buddy with a truck strap/chain the two together and go. Or you could always get one of them car hauler trailer things from uhaul and tow the truck that way? It'd be tricky getting it on but it's an idea.

Sucks to hear that happened to ya but glad you got it back, hope things work out for ya.

First off try sticking a large flat head screwdriver in what is left of the ignition switch and turning it. I had a car stolen once and that was all I had to do to start it afterward. Left it like that for the rest of the time I owned it. Cops give you a funny look & ask about it when they pull you over though.

Well I know the screw driver trick prob wont work since the wires are cut already. If I knew someone with a big enough truck I would prob go that route, I am the guy usually called for that kinda stuff. Looking at that diagram the red looks like the constant power so I will just have to figure out the starter wire. I really hope the steering wheel isn't locked. I guess thats what the screw driver is for. Thanks for all the help

Look at the wires that go into the coil. One of them is the hot wire to your ignition switch. i believe they are orange/green and green/black.
