Default Driver door arm/disarm switch

Can anybody tell me what this is? I saw the connector while I was doing a window motor replacement. SO being curious I did the research in the manual. I can only find a reference to it in the wiring section showing the connector but I can't find any other info.

OK. A quick update. I think I now know what the arm / switch is. What I am specifically refering to is a 2 pin wiring harness connector that is not connected to anything. It is located under the door membrane towards the back edge of the door. If I didn't know any better I would have sworn that it was used for one of those lights in the arm rest that comes on with the dome light. I will post a picture when I get home.

Well, after my ignorant first few posts on the topic I have it figured out.

I don't have the arm/disarm switches installed for central locking so hence the empty connector.

My question is... If I buy the switches and install them will the central locking work or do I need to take it to the dealer to get that option turned on?

Power locks? Need the latches for both doors, switches, and the little escutcheon fellers they mount to. Verify there is power at the switch connectors, and there should be another connector at the back of the door, that would plug into the solenoid/motor (whatever it is) in the latch. if you have both connectors, and power, (the fuse for the power locks might not be there, check that too.... 10amp fuse in fuse block on side of dash.) should be able to install the parts, and be done with it.

Don't feel bad I've been trying to get my truck running for the past few weeks and I recently discovered an open connector under the hood on the cable leading to my hood light. I just hate having things that aren't neat and the way they are supposed to be so it has me wondering what the hell could have been the option from Dodge to put something there LOL!!!

Thanks for the help. We already have the power locks option installed (factory original). I just wanted to add the central lock/unlock feature like we have in our Sebring.
LOL. I am the same way with uninstalled options. I have been trying to find a few of them i.e. heated seats, infinity stereo setup, towing mirrors. The more I look into it the more frustrated I get. Trying to find OEM option parts is like looking for hens teeth on these trucks. Not alot on ebay or the other web sites, and when you do find them it seems that Dodge in their infinite wisdom didn't put the wiring harness in as standard. WTF.
I know the towing mirrors will plug right in so that may be the only other factory option I add. I think the the audio upgrade will end up being after market.
